How to clean the fences left by the pots

Plants give a lot of life to any environment, both indoors and outdoors. There are so many species and varieties that you will always find the most suitable for a specific place, being able to fit perfectly into any decorative style thanks to the multiple colors, textures, sizes, and shapes that they can have. In addition, many have a very pleasant aroma, so more reasons to have some at home.

So that everything can look good having plants, you should not only worry about giving them the necessary care but you must also take other things into account. For example, if you do not take the necessary precautions when the water is consumed and mixed with the earth, the pot will leave a fence on the surface it is placed on, something that is quite ugly, and then you have to clean.

The best way to avoid these fences is to put a plate under the pot, so the water will fall into it. However, we are going to assume that you have not taken that precaution and that the surface has already been stained, which could well be a wall, a window, a table, or any other place where you have put the pot. The fences are due to the excess moisture that accumulates in the pot.

If the stain is clear and not noticeable, you can remove it with hot bleach, scrubbing with a root brush, and then rinsing with plenty of water. If the stain is dark, the best option is to use hydrogen peroxide of 110 volumes, applying it with a brush, and letting it act. Repeat until the stain has disappeared or is very clear. When it has dried, varnish the area so that it is renewed and no damage is noticed.
