How to apply rooting hormones to cuttings

One of the most common methods of plant multiplication and used in gardening is through cuttings, since it is one of the most effective when it comes to obtaining new shrubs and plants. In addition, you can carry out a series of actions so that the development of these cuttings is favored, with which much better results can be achieved without affecting the quality and life of the new specimen.

Although the basic thing is to follow the most common guidelines to obtain and plant cuttings, you can also use certain products to get them to grow and thus become new specimens that are strong and resistant. The cuttings must form a group of important roots, so one of the most recommended products is rooting hormones.

Rooting hormones

With these hormones you will achieve great results, but you must bear in mind that they cannot be applied to any specimen, so whichever one you choose, you should ask a specialized center if that specimen is suitable for using rooting hormones. If you apply them to a specimen that cannot receive them, you will be spoiling it and the cutting will not prosper.

App

Once you know that you can apply them to the specimen you are going to cut, start by pouring a small amount into a container and smearing the base of the stem with them. Then you should blow so that the cutting is not too loaded with hormones and they are evenly distributed.

Then you can plant it, and then throw away the hormones that you have left in the container and wash it very well so that no rest remains.
