Succulent plants that you didn’t know

I can’t help it, I’m an absolute fan of succulent plants … I love each and every one of them, and I also think that they can all be kept at home and enjoy their beauty. Succulent plants tend to have juicy leaves, stems, and large roots … these plants form a glass and diverse group of plants that offer many options to choose the one that best suits you and your home.

These plants have many variants so you can also find a great variety of colors in them, for example: blue, green, pink, red, yellow, white, burgundy, black, and a long, etc. The leaves of these plants can be rounded, needle, ruffled, or pointed. And I’ve always thought that all of them have an invisible sign that says “touch me” … those with rounded leaves are my favorites! Do not miss this top of succulent plants to have in your home.

The Cactus

All cacti are succulents , but not all succulents are cacti. While some types of succulents have little care needs, they are also easy to grow thanks to their special tissues in which they store water that allow them to survive in environments that are too dry for other plants . Succulents prefer a fast-draining pot that won’t be watered too often. You will have to let the soil dry out between waterings.

Christmas cactus

The Christmas cactus to grow will need to have good soil and to dry out between waterings. In winter it should be dry. When the plant is growing you should pay attention because a slight dehydration or excess watering can prevent the flowers from growing. You will need light and fertilize the soil three times in the summer using a fertilizer to promote flower growth.

Crown of thorns

It is a plant originating from Madagascar and can flourish throughout the year if you give it enough sunlight. Its leaves are long and spoon-shaped and may have small flowers. When the plant is in flower it will need the soil to dry out before adjusting it again, but don’t let it get too dry or its leaves will start to fall. If your plant dries out and loses all leaves , it will grow back a few weeks after you start watering it again. It will need you to fertilize it 3 times in summer with a fertilizer to boost flower growth. Its sap can irritate the skin so you should wash your hands after handling it.
