The name given to this plant dates back to Greek mythology which was honored to one of the nymphs of this mythology. It is worth mentioning that the plant is a perennial type which has a very characteristic bulb with a yellow color.

In case you want to have it in a pot, it is also feasible, but you have to use in addition to the substrate, some volcanic clay or some similar material so that when you do the watering, the water can come out quickly and there is no excess water inside the pot.
