It is true that if the winter is cold for example or the summer is very warm, the most delicate could have a bit of a bad time, but if the species are chosen well, the climate is not something that should worry you excessively.

A small paragraph

Before entering the matter, it is important to clarify that plants that last all year round can be annual, biennial or perennial depending on whether their life cycle lasts a few months, two years or more than two years respectively. The former, that is, the annuals, are also known as seasonal plants, since they bloom shortly after sowing and once the flowers wither they can be thrown into the compost heap; the biannuals, on the other hand, grow during the first year and it is the second when they produce their flowers, but then they dry up.

Finally, the perennial or lively, are those that can flourish at any time; some do it from the first year, but normally it takes a little longer. What is certain is that once they do, they will continue to do so until they die, something that can happen in less than ten years, or in more than 3000 years depending on the species and the evolution it has had.

This one in particular usually has yellow or white margins, then a green line, a purple line, and lastly it has the center of the green leaf. You can see an image above; its nice is not it? Even so, they are one of the most grateful plants, that just by putting them in the sun and watering them more or less frequently they will be beautiful.

Of course, in order for them to produce large flowers, you must remember to cut the ones that are wilting, and to lower the height of the stems by 5 to 10 cm at the end of winter so that they develop new branches that will end up blooming. For the rest, you should know that they resist frosts down to -12ºC.
