Climbing plant in flower

Looking for fast growing climbing plants? It is normal that you want to cover a wall or a wall as soon as possible, since often leaving those places as they have been … it is not a very good idea because of how unsightly they look.

Giving them life is always an excellent decision, especially if it is with easy-to-care plant species, like the ones we recommend in this article.

What are climbing plants?

Before going into the matter, we are going to explain to you first what are the characteristics of these plants. Well then, It is about plants that what they do in nature is to grow on higher ones -usually trees and palm trees- in order to capture as much sunlight as possible.

They do it in several ways:

  • Linking its only stem to its support.
  • With the help of stems or branches that are intertwined with those of other plants.
  • Producing and developing tendrils, which are like very thin stems that are responsible for looking for the path to the climber as it is holding it to the branches that it finds.

When purchasing one, it is very important to take into account how it is and how it grows, since if for example it does not have tendrils, it will need more help to be able to cover that wall that you like so little or that lattice that you have in the patio.
