As with most plant species, anthuriums are known in different ways, in various areas where they are found or simply grown in the wild. anthuriums, or Anthurium as they are scientifically known, they are also known by the name of Calas, Flor de Rabo or Flor de Flamenco.

Although this plant is native to the continent of South Americaespecially in the warmer and tropical areas of this area, little by little it has become a very popular plant in Europe since it arrived in the mid-nineteenth century.

Anthuriums are characterized by their multiple forms, since they can be climbing, or creeping, woody or herbaceous, etc. While its flowers have also become a trademark of this species, characterized by being very unique, colorful, beautiful and elegant.

One of the main characteristics of Anthuriumsis that it is used very frequently as an ornamental plant, being one of the flowers chosen when making a flower arrangement for the interior of a house, or simply to decorate a garden. This characteristic is born from the uniqueness and beauty of its flowers that are quite colorful and full of colors, ranging from red, green, yellow and pink, to white, purple and lilac, so having this plant we will enjoy a unmatched colorful.

Besides being used for decorate gardens individually as a species, it is also common to see that these plants are used in conjunction with other ornamental species, to achieve a very attractive color combination for those who see them.
