Pistachio Day is celebrated every year on February 26 and is known as ” National Pistachio Day “, so all lovers of this delicious fruit celebrate it in a big way.

The pistachio is one of the oldest trees in the world and it is even a dried fruit that appears in the Bible, in Iran it is one of the most consumed dried fruits and they are known as the smile nut and in China they are called the happy nut . But pistachios are also known in some parts of the world as green almonds .

This fruit is native to Western Asia and Asia Minor where the trees grew wild in the high desert regions and legend says that it promotes good fortune for lovers , especially on full moon nights as they are under its branches. .
