The rose busheslike other types of plants are very sensitive to diseases and pests. For this reason, many people who have grown rose bushes in their gardens must spray their roses quite frequently.

Below we will show you some of the most frequent pests that can be found in the rose bushes:

  • Red Spiders: This type of pest is very small so it is difficult to see it with the naked eye. However, you may begin to notice its presence, as the leaves of your rose bushes begin to turn yellow and dry. In the same way, these leaves will eventually fall so that flowering often does not occur. To combat this type of mites, you can opt for an ecological treatment that consists of using the skins of the onions and spreading them on the soil of your rose bushes. It will serve as a repellent against spider mites.
  • Mealybugs: Mealybugs, like aphids, are a very common type of pest. They can discolor and warp the leaves of your roses, at the same time that you begin to notice that the leaves have a shiny and sticky appearance. However, insects can be easily observed, they are characterized by being white or brown crusts. To combat them you must have a lot of patience as it can be hard to eliminate them. A remedy to help combat them is to dissolve a tablespoon of soap in a little warm water. Add a liter of water and a tablespoon of alcohol to it. Apply this solution with a brush to the leaves, both in front and behind.
