Origin and characteristics
Galician cabbage, whose scientific name is Brassica oleracea var. viridis, it is a biennial herb – its life cycle lasts two years – in cold climates and perennial in climates without frost. It develops a short stem from which the leaves sprout, which are large, whole and petiolate, dark green in color.
