Perhaps the first species to appear is the bonsai tree as it is a “pocket” version of a traditional tree. Although there are different sizes, they are all very small because they were born after laborious work in which growth was controlled after successive pruning and maintaining the small stature of a tree by means of ropes.

The good thing is that they are ideal trees to have in flats or small houses. Having them is not an easy task as they require a lot of care. You can learn to have a bonsai at home and then choose one to put your knowledge into practice. Among the most chosen trees to make a bonsai are the maple, fir, holly, pine, and wild cherry.

The banana is another species that of tree that you can plant in a pot as long as it’s the variety cavendish dwarfs that does not exceed the meter eighty of height. There are also different varieties of citrus trees, including orange and lemon trees., and the Arbequina olive tree, a slow-growing tree that grows well in a container.

Some dwarf varieties of evergreens are perfect for growing in cement pots or other material. It is the case of camellias and dwarf magnolias.

Other trees you can count on are the juniper, maple, mugo pine, and weeping cypress trees.
