Oleander

The care of this plant are very basic. It is a Mediterranean plant that likes humidity but not excess water, even withstanding drought, so watering should be normal, between two or three times a week, especially if the plant is in a pot. The sun likes direct.

It does not bear the cold well, if the temperatures drop below five degrees the plant can die, so it will be better to cover it or if it is in a pot, introduce it inside.

Oleander is a totally poisonousfrom its roots, to its flowers through its leaves. The seeds are just as poisonous. The plant is often used to make poisons against insects. You have to be careful with the intake of this plant.

However, no matter how toxic it is, it is a plant widely used by grounds for its beautiful flowers, although care must be taken that no animal or child approaches it and can put it in the mouth.
