To achieve a good development, it is important to do a moderate irrigation and only when there is a lot of drought as it is a very resistant plant to lack of water. Moreover, adapts to both sunny and semi-shady places as well as somewhat poor soils. In this case, it is best to help the plant with a natural compost such as manure and mineral fertilizers twice a year.
