It grows to a height of 2 meters and develops pubescent and glandular branches. The leaves are evergreen or deciduous depending on the climate, bipinnate, from 6 to 28cm, green in color. The flowers, which sprout in summer, are grouped in terminal clusters, and the fruit is a linear legume measuring about 5-10 x 1,5-2cm.
