Ranunculus

The Ranunculus is one of them, one herbaceous plant that belongs to the family Ranunculaceae and it is native to different parts of the map such as Asia Minor, Syria, Persian and Southeast Europe.

Features

Although its common name refers to the typical perennial plant with yellow or white flowers, in reality we are talking about a genus of plants composed of more than 400 species, some of them biennial and not annualwhich vary the color of their flowers. They all share a common trait: their bulb-shaped tuberous roots.

Ranunculus

The raúnuculo is a plant that reaches up to 60 cm in height, with an erect appearance and with simple leaves and long petioles. It becomes beautiful in spring, when its flowers begin to peek. It is common to plant several specimens in the same pot or group them in a flowerbed to combine the colors of the flowers and create a beautiful flower arrangement.

Care

This plant needs light, although not directlyIn other words, it is best to place it in a semi-shady place. The soil must be loose and well drained while requiring regular watering, although always avoiding stagnations, especially in winter, when the water evaporates more slowly.

It is recommended to fertilize the soil every 15 days, especially from spring to summer, and remove wilted plants.

The best thing about buttercup is the variety of species and, therefore, also of flowers. They come in different colors and with single or multiple layers of petals, even in the form of a rosette.
