Little time and a garden high maintenance. An unattractive equation in these times. But despite the bad forecasts it is possible to have a beautiful garden, even if you do not have a lot of time to maintain it.

The secret is to choose plants that need little carespecies that grow almost by their own means and require just a little irrigation and some other issue.


When designing your garden, choose the species based on the time available you have. If your minutes are worth gold, opt for those plants that need little watering. Some of them? The chrysanthemums, bougainvillea, alelli, geraniums, water lilies, begonias, marigolds or winter hydrangeas.

Another issue is sun exposure because if you choose plants that don’t need much sun then you will not have to see yourself in the obligation to change the pots of place. In this sense, specimens such as the shrubs, aralias, cicas, ivy, ferns or durillos. These plants are also perfect for indoors.

It is very common for you to enjoy colorful plants, with beautiful and vibrant flowers. The bad news is that they generally require great care as many are fragile plants. However, this does not happen with some species, such as the agapanthuswhich requires little sun, or the tricolor dracaenaa plant that only needs to be given away once a week in winter.
