Fungi are microorganisms capable of killing plants in a matter of days, and the worst thing is that when we realize that something is wrong with them, the vast majority of times usually no longer can do anything to save them.

Fortunately, at home we surely have some things that will be very useful to prevent further damage or, at least, to prevent the other plants that we have. For this reason, I am going to explain to you how to make a homemade fungicideor several .

Milk and baking soda

Liquid milk

liquid milk

To prepare a liter of this interesting homemade fungicide you need 8 parts of rainwater (or without lime), 2 parts of skimmed milk and 20 grams of baking soda for each liter of this mixture. We stir it well so that everything is diluted, we fill a sprayer with the mixture and we spray the plant that we want to treat and / or protect for two days in a row at sunset.

Baking soda and soap

It is one of the most widely used fungicides. You just have to mix four tablespoons of baking soda with another four tablespoons of dish soap (no detergent or bleach) in 3,5 liters of water. It is stirred well and voila: it can already be applied with a spray.

Ground limestone and copper sulfate

To prepare it you need seven tablespoons of copper sulfate powder, three tablespoons of limestone and one liter of water. It mixes everything well, and is applied with a spray during the fall and winter to prevent fungal diseases.

Of course, it must be borne in mind that copper can leach and contaminate water currents, so it should not be abused.
