- If they are in a pot, take it once watered and again after a few days.
How often should the tomatoes be watered?
Just as important as remembering to water is watering well. Therefore, it is necessary to use a irrigation system that is really suitable considering the culture medium. For instance, if the tomato plants are in the orchardthe ideal is to install a system of drip irrigation since it will allow us to have well watered plants at the same time that we will avoid losing water; Conversely, if they are potted I advise watering them with a watering can and also putting a plate under them.

Watering must be frequent, but not as frequent as if they were in the garden. Usually, They should be watered about 3 times a week in summer, but about 2 weekly the rest of the year. Use rainwater or lime-free water whenever you can, and avoid wetting the leaves, flowers, and fruits.
