Tamarind Bonsai Care | Gardening On

One of the trees preferred by all those who love plants and gardening, are bonsai, since they are an option to achieve a charming, spectacular decoration, but at the same time very natural. In case you did not know, there are many species of bonsai, but today we want to talk a little about the tamarind bonsai, of African origin and that today is cultivated in almost all parts of the world, especially where a tropical and subtropical climate is enjoyed all year round.

These trees are evergreen and have a thin, rough bark of a dark blackish color. The moment the flowers begin to appear, they are grouped in very thin yellow clusters. Like any other plant and shrub, it is important that you take into account your cares so you can have it at home in the best possible way. So pay close attention and get to work.

First of all lighting It will be very important, since you will need a lot of light, both natural and artificial. Obviously the bush will prefer natural light, so if you have it indoors, worry about putting it near a window, taking care that it does not get direct rays of the sun, to avoid burning its leaves or damaging the branches. You should also take care of the temperature, since these bonsai are from tropical climates, so if you live in a cold area, I recommend that you keep them indoors or in a warm greenhouse.

Irrigation It will also be very important, so I recommend that you let the substrate dry between watering and watering, but you should not let it dry for a long time, so ideally it will always have enough humidity but allowing that if, that it dries a bit so that all the properties of the soil can be used.
